Monday, March 19th begins IBM's first ever global conference - IBM Think 2018 - in Las Vegas. We'll be there exhibiting (come see us at booth #765!), presenting, and attending all the great sessions and events offered during the conference.
Today’s post is the second in a three-part series we’re publishing focused on why running Oracle Database on IBM POWER® is such a winning combination. If you joined us for the first post, you read about the advantages that this combination can bring you around RAS, performance, and virtualization.
Good news! We just got word that Vendita has been invited to present at one of IBM Systems’ prestigious Technical University events – several of which we’ve attended and presented at in the past.
So what’s all this buzz about Infrastructure as Code (IaC)?
You’ve probably heard of SaaS, PaaS, and even DBaaS, but in case you’re not familiar with this relatively new-to-the-technology-scene concept of IaC, it’s when systems are automatically built, provisioned, and managed through code instead of using less flexible scripting or manual processes.
IBM is doing conferences a little differently this year, and we're excited to be a part of it!
Think 2018 - the first global IBM event - is, if you will, a confluence of conferences for clients and Business Partners.
